Reason rescued: Owners wanted to euthanize because she had fleas (now treated). Alice is a great kitty and has a whole lot of love to share with you!

Update - Bongo

Bongo was vaccinated today for DHPP - Lepto - Rabies - Kennel Cough and Heart worm tested negative! He was also deemed very healthy (and cute) but the vet. He is now ready to be adopted!

Montreal Benefit Concert, to Support Local Abandoned Animals.

Have a Heart & Eleven Eleven Animal Rescue channel the power of music to save lives.

January 22nd 2009 – Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Montreal’s Local rescue Eleven Eleven Animal Rescue and their new fundraising company Have a Heart will be hosting a Benefit Concert to support raise funds to save animals in need.

The goal of this Concert is; bring the community together through music to support local abandoned animals and raise awareness. Celebrate the lives saved and accomplishments of 2009. Launch of the new fundraising company Have a Heart. Raise funds for Eleven Eleven Animal Rescue to help them continue to save lives.

The concert is for all ages to come and enjoy good music, while supporting local abandoned animals and local musicians.

We are pleased to announce a line up of outstanding musicians; Amy Milan from Stars, The Hoof and the Heel, Yonder Hill, Bud Rice, Beaugart.

Udpate

They have all been tested for FIV/FeLV and the tests were NEGATIVE - Yay!!

They were also de-wormed and had their frist vaccines.

Random Acts of Kindness - What keeps us going!

One kitty will be saved today because of two peoples random acts of kindness - Thank you Bianca for offering to pick up the kitty (About an hour outside of the city) and Mel for offering to foster!

Foster Home Needed

Young pitbull, male, neutered. Dropped off on the streets in the country, and picked up then dropped at a clinic. Needs to be out ASAP as clinic closes TONIGHT for Christmas.

Weekly News Letter Dec 20th

Hey there everybody,
We've decided to keep you lovely members posted with weekly emails. My name's Jess I will be doing this weekly mailing list. I'm super new at this so please cut me some slack and let me know if I've done something wrong.


We have some new arrivals this week:

Minoush: a 5 year old cat who was going to be euthanized because her owners didn't want her anymore.

Porscha: this beautiful miniature pinscher was a former puppy mill breeder.

Three feral kittens from one of many feral cat populations. This has been a growing problem for many years now so like Bob Barker says "don't forget to spay and neuter your pets".

Bongo: a 1 year old male boxer mix has just joined us, He was picked up by animal control,
un-neutered, no i.d and to be euthanized. He is now safe and sound at the rescue.


Well there has been some good news Pepito the parakeet has been adopted! We hope he's settling into his new home well.

New Arrival - Bongo

BONGO

Age: Young (Around 1 Year)
Sex: Male/Neutered
Breed: Boxer cross
Size: Large

Bongo was picked up by animal control, with no identification, un-neutered and dropped off at a clinic to be euthanized. He was such a sweet heart the clinic did not want to euthanize and seeked help. Bongo is one big happy go lucky dog, life is a peice of cake to him. Regardless of how bad it has started. He is un-fazed by everything, his spirit is strong and inspiring






Pepitto Adopted!


Pepitto was dropped off at a vet clinic to be euthanized because they did not want to treat the intestinal parasites. Intestinal parasites were treated, and he has now been placed. Now he has one very happy feathrery tails!

Foster Home Needed

Westie mix dropped of at a vet clinic after being thrown out of a car. Vet clinic closes Tuesday for Christmas, dog will be euthanized if not out of the clinic by then.
