Meet Mia: a sweet 11 year old cat facing being sent to the SPCA

This beautiful sweet girl has had a hard life and now looking to be re-homed for a third time. She needs to be given up because the son has developed allergies. At 11 years old her chance of finding a home are very slim, and if sent to the SPCA she will most likely be euthanized. We are hoping to take her into our rescue to prevent her going to the SPCA, but we cannot do that unless we find her a foster home. This foster home would have to be a long term foster home as it may take her a while at 11 years old to find a home.

Here is all her information:
Name: Mia Declawed: All Four
Sex: Female/Spayed Age: 11 years old

Please contact us A.S.A.P if you think you can provide a permanent or temporary home for her!

Meet Charlie

Breed: Pit-Bull x Lab
Sex: Male,
Age: 1 year
Good with: Dogs, Cats, and Kids

This big lover boy was going to be euthanized after the previous owners realized they could no longer keep him and being turned down by many other rescues. The wife became allergic and husband changed shifts at work. He is great with kids and grew up with a 2 year old, now 3 years old. He knows his basic commands, house broken and crate trained. However with close to 100lbs of pure muscle (and love!), he is a big boy and needs a strong experienced owner. Regardless of his size and statue, he may look fierce but he is actually one big suck. He gives great big kisses and likes to roll on his back for tummy rubs. Being young he is excited and could use more training, would also do better in an active house hold. He is really an amazing dog and would make the absolute perfect, loyal best friend.

He has been; Veterinary check and is healthy, vaccinated against DHPP-Lepto-Rabies, Heart Worm tested negative, and had a treatment of Advantage Multi 100 to treat and prevent Fleas/Mites/Intestinal Parasites.

Rescued Today: Pickle, Pepper and Penguin

Pickle, Pepper and Penguin were rescued today from a stray cat population of 15 kittens. They were the lucky three that we were able to catch today. We are hoping to catch more kittens this week. They are all very very sick, and absolutely covered in fleas. We are hoping to catch them all as soon as possible, because to be honest in the shape they are in.. the rest of the kittens will most likely not survive winter or even make it through fall. Obviously we can only do that if we have foster homes, which we don't have any free homes right now.

They will be seen as soon as possible by a veterinarian and started on a course of antibiotics and eye ointments.

We desperately need foster homes with no other cats (as they are contageous) who can give them the treatments and socialization that they need. Veterinary care, treatments, food and anything else needed will be provided by the rescue.

Pickle: 2.5moths old, male

Pepper: 2 months old, female

Penguin: 2 months old, male

*They are all suffering from severe eye infections, however their eyes and eye sight are and will remain intact. Their eyes were simply glewed shut with secretions from the infection.
